Lucifer is a show about the Devil coming up from Hell and staying on Earth to have fun. He is tired of his duties and does not feel like he wants to be king anymore.
The show is centered around Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Detective Decker (Lauren German) because she is Lucifer's weakness. They have a lot of issues in their partnership while solving crimes but the sexual tension keeps the show afloat.
My Opinion:
I love the show because from the start Tom Ellis caught my eye. He is such a good actor and his chemistry with the other characters always keeps me up on my feet.
However, sometimes I would find myself mad and that was because there would be a great point in the show where Lucifer and Chloe could have gotten together but it did not happen.
Also, unlike most shows where their are unnecessary characters this show does not have that. Every character has a purpose and that is another reason why I am a big fan of this show.
it's okay not to be okay.

Before I start, I just want to say this show may not be for everyone. Meaning, if you have suicidal thoughts or are depressed please do not watch this show.

Moon Gang-tae all of his life was stuck in his brothers shadows because his brother had autism. Their mom focused more on Moon Sang-tae because she was worried he would have a hard life. This really puts a strain on Moon Gang-tae's character development.

The two brothers move around a lot and never stay in one place for more than a year and it's all because of the nab (butterfly). The writer uses nabi as a symbol later on in the episodes.

Ko Moon young is not good with expressing her emotion because she was trapped most of her life. Her parents really hindered her ability to grow.

Ko Moon-young who gets to know Moon Sang-tae in an unusual way.

The three of them face lots of challenges together and figure out that in order to grow they must face the past. They yell, scream, cry, and laugh together when before they couldn't even feel a thing.

My Opinion:

These episodes really messed with my mind. I remember watching the show when it first came out and I got hooked. The plot was so interesting and the characters really embodied their roles.

I loved the way each character had their own story to tell but their story grew stronger as one. This show was not afraid to talk about mental health and other personal tribulations that people experience, which shocked me.

I feel like Korea is known for their traditional roles and this show really defied all those pre-conceived notions.

I would definitely recommend this show to people. However, it is and can one very dark at some points so viewer discretion is advised.
